how to check reservist unit ns

If you’re wondering how to check the NS reservist unit you are in for Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS), here’s how you can do so!

The steps to check your NS reservist unit

There are only 3 steps to check the unit you are posted to after your Operationally Ready Date (ORD), and here they are:

  1. Login to your NS portal
  2. Select ‘View My NS Booklet’
  3. View your unit

These are the following steps explained further:

#1 Login to your NS portal

Access your NS portal by logging in using your SingPass or user ID. You can do so by clicking the link above.

Most of your NS matters and information will be through the NS portal.

#2 Select ‘View My NS Booklet’

When you have entered the portal, click the ‘View My NS Booklet’ option. This is found at the top of the page.

#3 View your unit

Once you’re in the page, you can view the reservist unit you are posted to. You are also able to see your enlistment and ORD date.

Take note, this information may take awhile to be updated after your ORD.

Conclusion

Your NS reservist unit can easily be found in the NS portal website. If there are any discrepancies with your personal information, do inform your commanders about them!

All your ORNS matters can be managed through the site as well.

You may want to check these often as the information may change!

If you’ve been called up for reservist, you can check what you’ll need to bring for low key ICT, and how to check your PES status.
